Es Llombards' feast

Generations of Lombards have gathered every August 8th in the parish church to celebrate their patron saint, Saint Dominic de Guzmán. This morning we did the same thing again.

We celebrated the Eucharist, we placed before the altar the joys and concerns of our people and we remembered this saint who dedicated his life to preaching the Gospel, convinced that faith had to pass through the heart and the intelligence.

Saint Dominic de Guzmán, watch over Es Llombards, our families, those who are far away and those who preceded us.

May we know how to preserve what they left us and pass it on, with the same appreciation, to those who will come.
