I want to get married
The mutual love between spouses “becomes an image of the absolute and unfailing love with which God loves man”. This love is good, very good, in the eyes of the Creator (Gen 1:31). And this love is destined to be fruitful and to be realized in the common work of caring for creation. And God blessed them and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it” (Gen 1:28)” (Catechism, 1604).
In our Pastoral Unit it is possible to get married in any of our temples.
To reserve the day and time of the celebration it is necessary to speak with the priest in charge and have him evaluate whether or not it is possible to carry out the celebration of the sacrament, since unfortunately it is not possible in all cases.
Therefore, it is necessary to previously make an appointment at the parish secretariat.
IF YOU WANT TO GET MARRIED IN THE CHURCH, THIS IS THE DOCUMENTATION YOU NEED
TO COMPLETE THE MARRIAGE RECORD BETWEEN TWO BAPTIZED CATHOLIC PARTIES

-

-
Birth certificate for each party. Issued by the corresponding Civil Registry.
-
Certificate of civil status for each party. For Spaniards, this is the certificate of life and status issued by the Civil Registry where they are registered. If the parties have already celebrated a civil marriage previously, they will provide the marriage certificate.
-
If there has been a previous divorce: the marriage certificate and the divorce decree.
-
If there is a nullity of the canonical marriage, the two nullity decrees.
-
If either party is a widower, the marriage certificate and the spouse's death certificate.
-
Certificate of having completed the Premarital Course.
-
Identity document (DNI, NIE or passport).
-
Two witnesses, one for each party.
MIXED MARRIAGES
A mixed marriage is understood to be one in which one of the parties is a practicing Catholic and the other:

1) Belongs to another Christian denomination.
2) Has formally abandoned the Catholic Church to which he had adhered in adulthood or to which he had been baptized in childhood
3) Is a member of a non-Christian religious denomination (Judaism, Islam, etc.)
4) Is not and has never been a member of any religious denomination.

Those who in these circumstances wish to contract marriage according to the practice of the Church must take the following steps:

ROMAN CATHOLIC PART

a) Literal birth certificate (which includes the names and surnames of the parents, the surname of the mother's godmother, etc.). If it is a Spanish Catholic person, the parents' family book is sufficient.

b) Recent baptism certificate (valid for six months). If it comes from another diocese, it must be legalized in the diocese of origin.
NON-ROMAN CATHOLIC PART

If Christian

a) Literal birth certificate
b) Baptism certificate (NOT the reminder that is usually given on the same day of baptism)
c) Civil status certificate
If non-Christian

a) Literal birth certificate
b) Civil status certificate. If previously married civilly, we need to know if you married a baptized Christian.

IN ALL CASES
Taking into account the need to take pre-marital courses,
obtain the necessary documents and establish the specific details of the celebration, it is advisable to leave a margin of at least six months before the wedding to carry out all the preparations.
