How to participate?
Contact the parish to set the date of the baptism, deliver the necessary documentation and organize the details of the ceremony.

And if we are of legal age?

What is First Communion?
It is celebrated the first time a person participates in the sacrament of the Eucharist: Pep the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. It is part of the three sacraments called Christian Initiation (baptism, Eucharist and confirmation).
What is needed to receive First Communion?
The child must be baptized. If they are not baptized, they will receive the sacrament of Baptism as part of the catechetical process.
To carry out this process, it is necessary to prepare for this sacrament by attending courses called catechesis, in which they will be initiated into the faith and will learn the main precepts of the Church.
At what age does this preparation for First Communion begin?
It usually begins when the child can already read and write, that is, in the 2nd year of Primary or later. Never before.

Confirmation Catechesis

Those who have already received First Communion participate. In our parishes we offer 3 paths to receive this sacrament:
-
With post-communion catechesis: once the catechesis for 1st Communion is finished, the possibility of continuing 3 more years of catechesis and receiving this sacrament is offered.
-
In the youth process: group of young people aged 14 and over who have not received this sacrament, continuing catechesis and who are offered the possibility of participating in this group where a process is carried out accompanied by catechists. The end of this process is the sacrament of Confirmation.
-
Adults: over 18 years of age who did not receive the sacrament at the time and who now wish to receive it. Aimed in a very special way at all those who must be godparents for baptism or confirmation, or who are about to get married. It is a whole process that helps you receive the sacrament.
What is confirmation?
It is the sacrament that perfects baptismal grace by strengthening us in faith and making us followers of Jesus Christ.

This sacrament is necessary to be a godfather (of Baptism, Confirmation, …) and to enter into Christian Marriage.

Premarital courses
Our Parish Unit offers couples who want to get married the opportunity to take what we call a premarital course.

This consists of a series of meetings where couples who want to get married, accompanied by couples and the priest, reflect on being Christian and the meaning of Christian marriage.

During 2026, the course offered by the Pastoral Unit consists of 8 meetings:

January 30
February 13
March 13
March 27
April 24
May 8
May 22
June 5

Adult Catechesis
Adults, over 18 years of age, can also discover the faith or may also want to receive the sacraments. These are not just something for children or adolescents.

If you have not received any sacrament, or have only received baptism or if you only lack confirmation, we have a catechetical process so that you can receive it. We call it the adult catechumenate.
This is a process where, accompanied by other adult Christians and adults like you who also want to grow, a process is carried out to discover the faith. This process is not automatic, it has a time, a duration.
